“Modern dairy farming requires smart management and a strategic approach”

Ruth decided to study a National Diploma of Agribusiness Management to further her long-term business plan goal of owning the farm where she and partner Brett 50:50 sharemilk, “We have a focus on wealth creation that will lead to farm ownership.”

The diploma supports theoretical knowledge she gained studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (majoring in Agriculture) from Massey University, “The diploma course meets my needs for knowledge with its broad range of topics all related to how to manage resources both physical and human.”

Ruth has several other significant achievements in her career to date. She won the New Zealand Dairy Trainee of the Year Award in 2014 at the Dairy Industry Awards before representing New Zealand as our Ambassador for World Food Day in Bangkok.

In everything she does, Ruth strives for excellence.
